Salma Hayek

Salma Hayek is a Mexican-American actor who was born to Lebanese-Spanish parents. Salma Hayek grew up in Mexico to a wealthy Roman Catholic family. When she was a kid, she was inspired to become an actress after watching the movie "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.' After attending Mexico City's "Universidad Iberoamericana," the actress considered herself ready for the field of film. In the Mexican telenovela 'Teresa', she made her first appearance as an actor. She was made a part in the film 'Desperado' opposite Antonio Banderas after arriving in Hollywood. After that, came roles in "Fools Rush In" as well as "Wild Wild West" and "Wild Wild West" among others. Her role as 'Desperado, as seen in Once Upon a Time in Mexico was reprised. Her next step was to establish her production company "Ventanarosa,". The first film she produced was the Mexican film, 'El coronel no Teiene Queen Le Escriba and it became Mexico's official entry at the Oscars in the Best Foreign Film category. Executive producer for 'Ugly Betty'. Her nomination was for Outstanding Guest actress (Comedy series) at the 59th Primetime Emmy Awards. Her endorsements include products such as 'Avon ' Revlon the latter of which has her own cosmetics line skin care products, and haircare products under the name 'Nuance'.
