Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born on April 28th, 1967) was an American performer and actress. Wuhrer began her career as she was a teenager. She is most known for her role as Maggie Beckett on the TV series Sliders as well her role as the character of Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the horror comedy movie Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was born within Brookfield Connecticut as her mother was Karin Noble and worked as a payroll clerk, and German American Andrew Wuhrer. She has three sisters and brothers. The singer began performing in clubs as a teenager, and would sneak out of her house to sing.
