Lisa Edelstein has been an American actor for more than 20 years. She is most well-known for her part in House in the series House on Fox. Growing up with conservative Jews in Wayne, New York City was the place she went to pursue her studies in theater at Tisch. Soon after, she was involved in the club scene, creating enough of a stir to draw the media's attention. Then, she used her experiences and fame to create and write a musical titled Positive Me which she was a part of. Soon after, she was offered the job of MTV as host of Awake to the Wild Side. When Awake on the Wild Side had stopped being aired, she began acting in films and on television, initially in small parts. Gradually, her career in acting was growing.
